This is a FULL CURRICULUM designed for girls & boys ages 6+.  No prior hand sewing experience is needed to assist your child in learning to hand sew. Although adult supervision is always recommended, a child can learn to hand sew using this curriculum with minimal assistance (depending upon age, of course). 
This Hand Sewing Curriculum includes:
Hand Sewing Basics Workbook: Spiral bound printed 108 page workbook, full color with fun activities/lessons, charts, flashcards, and more to teach your child to hand sew. 6 Units include multiple lessons, instructions and sewing patterns that teach the foundation of learning to sew.
Sewing Patterns & Instructions: Sewing patterns make 15 projects are printed in the workbook and include step-by-step sewing instructions. Projects are made from felt and will provide your child a fun and creative way to practice and learn their hand sewing stitches. Your child will build upon the concepts learned in the Hand Sewing Basics Workbook as they learn to master each hand sewing skill. Your child will learn how to thread a needle and tie a knot. They will learn the running stitch, whip stitch, backstitch, blanket stitch, cross stitch, and V stitch. In addition, your child will learn hand sewing safety rules, how to use a paper pattern, how to cut felt, and "sew" much more!
Parent Guide: 8-page printed booklet with step-by-step instructions, lesson tips, and additional instruction to ensure your child's success.
Online Access: You also receive online access to additional learning activities.
